From Mountain to Fjord

Every week-end in the month of May we arrange a guided tour called Mountain to Fjord. The tou became very popular in May 2009 and we decided to offer this in 2010 as well. The tour is perfect for groups as well as individual persons. On request we can arrange the tour during week-days as well.

Start at Finse 1222 (1222meters above sealevel) and continue up to the glacier Hardangerjøkulen (1876 meter s above sealevel). When arriving at the verge of the airy Simadalen the view is absolutely spectacular. When going down Simadalen the skies are kept on until there is no more snow, we continue hiking by shoes after that. At the end of the trip you are by the beautiful Hardanger Fjord. The hike is finished by going for a swim in the Sima River. The tour includes bus and train transfer back to Finse 1222.
